As antioxidant ginger inhibits free radicals that can damage your DNA protecting against cancer, cognitive impairment, infections, and heart disorders.


Antibacterial properties of ginger are associated with its ability to fight against of different types of multidrug-resistant bacteria.

Lipid-lowering and anti-diabetic properties help control blood sugar, levels of cholesterol, triglycerides by improving fat and carbs metabolism, increasing lipolysis, and suppressing lipogenesis.

Diaphoretic properties of ginger promote toxins elimination through sweating.

Ginger Drinks

Ginger Water

Slice 15-20 grams of raw ginger and steep it in a glass of water for at least 3-4 hours. Remove the ginger slices and add lemon, honey, or mint, or sweetener if needed. You can use the ginger slices again but steep it in water for 5-7 hours.

Ginger Tea (from raw ginger)

  • Grate 20 grams of raw peeled ginger
  • Add 4 cups of filtered water
  • Bring water to a boil
  • Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-10 minutes
  • Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes
  • Strain out the ginger

Add lemon, honey or fresh mint, or fresh rosemary, or sweetener to your taste.

20-25 grams of peeled raw ginger approximately equals 1 tablespoon (5 g) of the powdered form.

1 cup of such tea contains approximately 1 g of ginger. If this tea is too strong, dilute it with more water.

Ginger Tea (from ginger powder)

  • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil
  • Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Allow it to simmer for 5-10 minutes
  • Add honey, lemon or sweetener to taste.


Ginger Tea with Turmeric

Yield - 3 cups of tea (750 g)

  • Peel and grate 20 grams of fresh turmeric
  • Peel and grate 10 grams of fresh ginger
  • Add a pinch of black peppercorn
  • Add 3 cups of filtered water
  • Bring water to a boil
  • Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-10 minutes
  • Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes
  • Strain out the tea
  • Add lemon, honey or fresh mint, or fresh rosemary, or sweetener to your taste.If this tea is too strong, you can dilute it with more water.
